EDITING APPROACH

focusing on the narrative of the story between Keedron Bryan and his leading lady Jene’ we wanted to showcase the beautiful colors on display and showcase the chemistry between our stars. We balanced that by first finding the rhythm of the performance and found ways on the downturn of the song to add in our cinematic slow motion story pieces to this compelling visual.

Capturing these images in the RAW RED Dragon format gives a great range to draw from and use the dynamic range capability. We started with a custom RED LUT working in Davinci Resolve and worked from there to create natural balanced skin tones with a pop of color around Keedron Bryant and his leading lady. This was fun because we had a lot of beautiful natural light as we mixed the graphic text into the scenes seamlessly with the outside setting.
